Redleaf College - Training Resources

Redleaf has developed quality learning/training resources for a range of units of competencies within the Certificate IV in Leisure Health (CHC40608) & Diploma Leisure and Health (CHC50508).

These learning/training resources meet the specific elements and performance criteria for the each competency and can be used in a face to face teaching situation or for distance learning. The resources include assessments, practical activities, and have been written by highly qualified educators and professionals in the field of diversional therapy.

  • CHCPOL501A - Access evidence and apply in practice
  • CHCRH503A - Develop leisure and health programs for clients with special needs
  • CHCRH504A - Coordinate planning, implementation and monitoring of leisure and health programs
  • CHCRH506A - Provide leisure education
  • CHCRH507A - Apply concepts of human psychology to facilitate involvement in leisure programs
  • HLTAP501A - Analyse health information

Also available is a "Student Referencing Guide" and "Pathways to Success: Ways to develop your learning skills". This book has been written by the staff at Redleaf especially for adult students. It provides useful and constructive information and tips about ways students can plan their studies, set goals for themselves, start and complete assessment tasks, develop their writing skills and work independently. Various learning styles are explained and students are encouraged to make use of their preferred style. There is a section on reading - both skimming and reading for detail - as well as tips on how to deal with setbacks. We have had excellent feedback from students who have used this book.
